music time

Am at CXHQ for the second weekend in a row, getting ready for the festival we are playing in Belgium next week. It's going well, though most of today was spent installing software on our new computers, which is always a horribly tedious task. We also added a rather wonderful 600W B&W subwoofer to the studio's main monitor system (an old but lovely pair of Yamaha NS40M speakers). The sound now is just fabulous, we've been marvelling at it all evening.

Also managed to finally pick up a Wii today, which I thought I'd never find... Been taking the odd break to shoot Nazis in Medal of Honor: Heroes 2, which is really rather good. Having the Wii Remote to shoot with makes such a difference... It's not the greatest game in the world, but it's definitely a lot of fun. especially using the sniper rifle and bazooka :-)

Looks like there will be a lot of music over the next weeks - am doing some presentation work for Steinberg in LA next month, so have to get dmeo material ready. Luckily I already have some really good stuff half finished, but it needs finishing off and tweaking to fit. Then end of January brings another show, near Aachen this time... And there's some negotiation currently going on for more shows all over the place later next year. Yay! It's about time! I love playing...
