Why Recced: This friendship fic just leaves me with a feel-good squee everytime! It's more than that too; with a great premise for why Rodney is struck blind and deaf plus Rodney's initial reaction to being captured shows his increasing competence without going OOC. His reaction to being unaware in general of the world around him, and the panic that causes for a control freak, have just the right level of hysteria combined with trying to keep it together.
I completely adore the humour throughout this story. Even when Rodney can't hear it doesn't stop the snark between him and John. However it is still the bonds of friendship between Rodney and the rest of the team, and with Radek, but especially with John, that make me want to read this fic again and again!
