Apparently so. Specifically "Morning Joe" on MSNBC, but yes they get some eyeballs.

Presumably so. Not everybody reads blogs, something thos of us who do sometimes forget. Also, the blogosphere is not quite up to the news-gathering abilities of the larger networks and (gasp) newspapers.

As regards the Blogosphere as a news gathering agency, it's rather in its infancy. When it comes to folks who actually have a clue providing analysis, the legacy media finishes a rather distant second, doesn't it?

The current legacy media cost cutting in the news gathering department will no doubt accelerate the downward spiral of their uility, and thus their profitability.
