Rest... At last.
Man, two years in a row now that I've come home and just gotten worked to the bone. We took down the last tents this morning, and now the rest of the week is clear, and next weekend is light as hell with it being Memorial Day (Nobody's in town, so nobody orders tents.)
Hence, I believe me, Ben and Grant are gonna head down to Harrisonburg for 2-3 days for the simple purposes of chillin. Laying back and drinking, pretty much the only plans. Possibly going to Blue Hole if it's warm enough. and who knows what else. When I'm drunk, have money, and have a car, you never quite know where we could end up.
The summer trips are coming up fast. June 7-9 now, I'll be heading to Charlottesville for the Festival of the Photograph. There's gonna be three interviews over three nights with William Albert Allard, Sally Mann, and Eugene Richards. A concert by the Hackensaw Boys, and a whole bunch of other cool shit, including some slideshow done by Sam Abell (World famous National Geographic photographer) which is supposed to be cool as hell. It's gonna be an awesome festival.
After that, I get about a two day break, and then it's Bonnaroo time.
Some good shit's about to go down. This is gonna be a good summer.
