I couldn't get myself excited about Christmas and decided not to send cards this year. But next year I'll be sure to send you one!

How sad you were not excited for Christmas. Why?

I remember that when I was young, people in Holland send their cards for New Year and not before Christmas. Later they began sending it for Christmas. It happened me before I did not get out all the cards before Christmas. But then I send the people New Years cards.

I'm usually on the road driving and working over the holidays so actually being home was kind of a shock.
I'm sure Christmas day is going to be fun.

Ah, now I understand why you call yourself roadskoller. I did not know your work is on the road. Are you a taxi driver? Or are you driving to visit people? I don't know so much about you yet.

My husband and I are owner operators that own a truck we call semis here in the U.S. and we work as professional movers for a moving comapany. We're gone from home almost all of the time driving all over the United States. I love my job.
You have the most wonderful Christmas ever!

How interesting that you are driving a truck. I have many country songs about truck drivers.

Once I traveled in a real truck in Sweden from Stockholm to Umea. Oves's uncle had a truck and I could follow him to our town with all my bags and a big trunk. Then I slept behind the truck driver. It was a huge truck. And we we stopped in the middle of the nigh at a gas station and there you could drink coffee too. It was real interesting to experience this. He was driving the whole night on the dark road. But I could relax or sleep.

That's what we do all year long. It's the most interesting job I have ever had.
