I slowly lose track of what I’m saying - the words matter, but there’s another possibility. Granted, they themselves haven’t published yet, but they were following the leads from other papers...
I need to kiss you, Amita. If the kiss is good, they say it’ll help us, advance what relationship we have.
Of course the corollary is that, if anything goes wrong with the kiss, it could ruin any chances either of us have for us to be together.
