ep2.03 spoiler review of Primeval
spoilers for episode 2.03, aka ep9 of PRIMEVAL...
* what did Caroline say when Connor said he was giving a talk about zoology? (seriously - when I say I can't hear something, I'm not kidding)
* here's a thought - she didn't _used to be_ a spy...after she got involved with Connor, she was drafted to serve as one.
* shut up, Baal.
* the ADD ? oddly appropriate.
(and here I was thinking they had radio collars on a few harmless prehistorics {ie, Falcarius) roaming England, using them to tell ARC when the Anomalies were open)
* "breathe" - okay, who is going to icon that? ;)
* quite the change...s1, Connor was into conspiracies...and now he's on his way to (becoming / becoming part of) Big Brother.
* oh - my - are Penny and Leek flirting?
* "what is that?"
Connor: "maybe I shouldn't have hit the Enter/Return key."
* "are you here to help, or just to be sarcastic?"
Penny: "no reason I can't do both."
* it seems there's a flaw with Nick's theory of last week.
* what was the next line?: "If I was back at the zoo, I'd say it was a lion. (?)"
* lots of big cat sightings...so, the Black Beast?
* 'I'm fine now. Thanks to you.'
I don't care what anyone says - if Helen was wounded by attacking claws (with or without the knife damage), it isn't something that just a bathroom stay and a day's bedrest could cure.
that and I don't think that this Helen is the same one from series 1.
* Stephen's wandering off into the woods? trying to have a near-miss with the Creature here, like he did with the Gorgonopsid at the school?
* question - could all the metal in the area (the ferris wheel, roller coaster, etc) be masking or obscuring or smudging the signal from the Anomaly?
* the Park Manager looks remarkably like Claudia...or Marian (from the most recent BBC version of Robin Hood)
* "it's my job to protect the integrity of this operation."
"at any cost?"
Cutter, do you really want an answer to that?
* "maybe the noise'll keep the predator away"
uh yeah, because megacarnivores hate the sound of herds. *rolls eyes*

* hold the phone...does that cat have cataracts, or just the strangest reflecting mechanism of any mammal?
* I thought it was going to attack - if not the kid alone - then the mum while she was holding the kid.

Cutter: "if anyone could, Connor, it'd be you."
* riiight, so when the Creature shows up, he's supposed to take the time to open the truck, open the gun cases, prep the cartridge into the gun, and then fire?
* 'no fun without you'. awwwww.
* one gun per case? or is that just a matter of sampling bias? (probably)
* Connor...running...with a gun...? we surrender!
* Connor's probably scaring more people than the cat is.
(I can see the headlines now - Uni student runs amuck in park)
