1. How much of the attitude against the Volm is because they arrived in the wake of a major victory by the 2nd Mass? Or would it have been worse for the Volm, had they arrived when the fortunes of the 2nd Mass were at their lowest point?
2. To my knowledge, we haven't seen the 2nd Mass being punished by the Espheni/Overlords for actions taken by other pockets of human resistance...say in China, Brazil, Portugal, South Africa, or Australia. Does this mean there have been no Espheni/Overlord reprisals against said populations for the actions of the 2nd Mass? Have the Volm landed in any other pockets of resistance?
