So how about a tiny writing meme: Give me a pairing/character, show or crossover, a noun, verb or adjective and I'll write a sentence based on them.
(in addition to my other fandoms, I'll also write The Croods & Oz & Murder in Paradise)

Joan's Thoughts:
This may be the best chance Sherlock has of finding a sponsor. And to do it, I had to locate someone who he wouldn't be able to find or reference on the 'standard' sponsor/AA circles.
Her name is Nikita.
I've presented this to Sherlock as the two of us (he and I) going out to meet a friend of mine whom I haven't seen since we were kids - which excuses me from any questions (til the night of the meet) about the personality, occupation, etc of Nikita; I'll excuse myself on some reason to let them talk. No doubt Sherlock has his doubts and may even have deduced that Nikita is in fact a total stranger...but he's gamely going along with all this. He can't possibly already know her.
He has mentioned, along the way, a suspicion that I would very much like to meet someone he met on a case once; payback, I suspect; but I'm not objecting.....one Colbie Granger. Colby Granger?

Speaking of, maybe we could have a drabble challenge there? I think that would be fun. :)

Sherlock thought this was payback, some form of retribution, for Joan ambushing him with Nikita as a potential new sponsor disguised as a blind date. He thought it would be comical to introduce Joan to one Agent Colby Granger, and then suddenly be "called away” for a case; making sure to tell her he’d be back within 2 hours.
Joan laughed now as Colby walked her back to the brownstone. Their time together had been more than enjoyable. Colby was good company and it was nice to spend a couple hours with someone who had nothing to do with her life in New York. Hearing him talk about his lady back in L.A. was also refreshing. Sherlock obviously hadn’t heard about the leggy red head when he set this up. But Joan didn’t mind. She needed more friends… more allies. Especially when those allies were more than willing to be an accomplice in messing with Sherlock.
Oh this was going to be fun.
