Is the state of NC just wrapped in panic and utter bedlam at the sight of the snow? LOL. I remember even one snow flake falling could cause an accident there... just like in Georgia and in Arkansas. Arkansas, I must admit, is at least a little better prepared for it since they actually keep sand on hand to give traction over icy bridges. I was impressed by that, remembering that NC and Georgia were never prepared for snow, ice, or anything but sunshine.
I miss NC. I can't wait to get back there. It's going to happen. :)
I don't think this is going to help the Duke Energy-vs-people who like trees...or maybe it will. *shrugs*
there was on the news last night, a guy who was stuck behind a traffic accident for 8-9 hours by the time the news crews showed up to report on the snow (the accident was a jacknifing, early afternoon, pre snow)...so he took a picture of the scene every hour - showing a nice weather report in a few frames. :)
