* Where did the title come from? - my Alexis and Beckett muses (from Castle) thought there was a certain humor in Tapping the Heat.
* Was it hard to write? - The hard part was finding a place where N3 and SPN overlapped, that I haven't already done - I've tried writing golems, and that stretched both too far. But then, at the library, I came across a book entitled Reading God's Cards (I think), about Uncertainty and solving the problem of quantum mechanics.
And that's when it - slowly slowly over the day - came to me: using a supernatural means to solve the mystery of quantum...anything.
* "I am second cousin to Maxwell's Demon"? - Yes. Maxwell's Demon being in charge of the flow of heat between rooms. {actually, he lied}
* Then why didn't Nikki's devil-trap work? - Because those only work on warped human souls and the creations of angels.
* Then where'd Nikki's adversary come from? - When I wrote it, I wasn't sure; only that they aren't the handiwork of angels or humans.
