more about the Transit
I rather enjoyed being at the Science Center to see the Transit of Venus.
They had live feed from Arizona or somewhere, showing the black-and-white of Venus crossing the Sun.
...But I preferred to look through the filters, standing outside, looking at the sun. Inside, it felt more like watching a documentary about the Transit; outside, whether there were a lot or a few people out there watching it too, it felt more like an experience, you could really feel that this was a once-in-a-century event.
