haven't yet seen the new episode for/from tonight...but a theory has been percolating in my mind for a few days now:
Arthur gave Auggie the job, not just because of all Auggie's qualifications...but because one of Ben's conditions (for working for Arthur) was that Arthur isolate Annie, making it so Annie has nobody to turn to...except Ben.
I believe the phrase you're looking for is "you're a cynical bastard, Keenir" - or is cynical the wrong word? ;)
