about the Supernatural season finale part 1: Let it bleed...
about the ep interactions itself:
* most importantly: Lisa and Ben are back!!
* knowing how SPN likes to drop surprises on us, I thought Lisa was cuddled up to Raphael's new body...up until the demons killed him.
* the look on Dean's face throughout the fight (and exorcism) with demon-in-Lisa....owch!
* well, Ben kept asking Dean to introduce him to Hunting. now he's introduced.
* I honestly thought Dean was going to call Cas or Balthazar in the car, say they need to help.
* but the solution in the hospital...while I like that Cas was going to heal her anyway, I hate the brainwashing - Lisa and Ben might not remember anything about Dean or Hunting...but I doubt Cas wiped the minds of anything that might use them against Dean.
* so angels hear other angels' summonings as high-pitched whistling. interesting.
about the plot twist:
* I always thought the common theme throughoug Lovecraft's works was "the universe is indifferent to us, and that's part of why its so hostile - that and we're dust motes physically and intellectually compared with what's out there."
* "So you killed Lovecraft?" "He couldn't even write 'hello'."
