I disapprove of the preview for Monday's episode on so many levels, and most of them for the things you've pointed out here... particularly Chin abandoning a sinking ship.
I hate wrongly accused crap. Like, I really hate it. This may be the end of Five-O for me. I went through it with Numb3rs and I'm not doing it again... not for a TV show. *sighs*

perhaps Steve told Chin to go back to HPD because its part of McGarrett's plan to capture Wo Fat.
Now THAT, I could live with... and you're probably right about the preview is full of misinformation to get as many people to watch as possible.
I may take you up on the offer to watch it first and then tell me if I should bother. LOL. Tina might disagree though. I'm pretty sure she's all set to watch it tomorrow night.

>Now THAT, I could live with.. well, that and Colby as your personal pool boy. ;)
>. and you're probably right about the preview is full of misinformation to get as many people to watch as possible. heck, they only had Kono in the preview during the shot where the wall exploded.
>I may take you up on the offer to watch it first and then tell me if I should bother. LOL. Tina might disagree though. I'm pretty sure she's all set to watch it tomorrow night. I'm actually tempted for once to turn on Instant Messenger so we can have an ep-long chat during the show. :)
on another matter...I needed to give Malia a surname, so I gave her one...thinking of The Ghost Who Walks, and the guy who tried annexing Nicaragua, Baja, and Sonora to the US.
only this morning did I realize "holy - she has Callie's surname!"
which made it either odder or more right, as I was at the time wondering if Malia should have been sent to college in Idaho. (yep, thinking up a crossover fic/ficlet for my Hawaii Five-0 table (I volunteered to do Malia))

hahahahaha. Yes. That too. :)
turn on Instant Messenger so we can have an ep-long chat during the show.
THAT would be fun! Except I'd have to come in to my room during commercial break to chat... TV is in the living room, no wireless in the house, so pc is hooked in my office of my bedroom. LOL. I'm so old school.
"holy - she has Callie's surname!" haha. I think that is AWESOME. :)

I thought you would like the pool boy idea. "ma'am, I really need to clean your pool." "nrgh. backrub, now."
the "during commercial break" is actually how I used to write my thoughts on an ep while it was on tv.
>so old school. that explains your coolness.
>AWESOME. can you imagine...Chin and Colby trading war stories about all the grief they shouldered? taking so much blame, the pair of them.
I keep trying to think of a plot for the NCIS/NCIS:LA crossover, even if its a flimsy excuse to get them together...and Five-0 keeps walking on the tv screen of my mind.
Nikki and Danny in the same room...oh dear me, Colby and Steve would need hard hats from all the falling snark.
* what I heard was "Stan's coming home tomorrow night. We have to tell him." what the Closed Captions typed was "Stan's coming home tomorrow night. I have to tell him."
* Chin was offered the rank of Lt. in the HPD, and he turned it down in favor of the Five-0.
* the money (stolen by McGarrett and burned in front of him and Kono) shows up, having been found by HPD.
* McGarrett thinks Hills (the Governor's aide, portrayed by Kelly Hu) is sexting Chin with her eyes.
* the skeleton key doesn't open anything McGarrett thinks his dad owned - it opens a piece of furniture from the 1800s.
* the Governor tells Hills to make the first move on Chin.

or, on the other hand, perhaps the preview is misinformation designed to get as many people as possible curious enough to watch it.
>not doing it again.
want me to watch the ep and tell you if its worth watching?
