very very belated comments about the recent episode of Lie To Me
* "I am so fired." -Loker.
for half the episode, I thought "Loker, there isn't going to be enough of you left to fire. Lightman's going to cut you up, probably use a blunt mango spoon."
So you can imagine my surprised gaping at the screen when Lightman asked Loker if he wants any ice cream, and Loker said "I like beer."
wait....so Torres has drinks around Emily, and Cal tears the woman a new one. but Loker is going to have drink(s) around Emiliy, and Cal's okay with that?
if I were Lightman, I wouldn't let Loker have any form of drink around Emily - unlike Ria, Loker's set into action events which (whether he chose it or not) resulted in Emily Lightman kissing him - and then he hurt her feelings deeply.
on that note, a thought about the prior week's episode with the other Torres sister:
at the end, with Gillian......I thought of how better fans than I feel that Gillian is letting Cal do what he wants with the Lightman Institute's temporary owner (because he'll be back)...
...which made me wonder if the Doctor here is going to be the beneficiary target of Gillian's affections in that meanwhile.
