>>Just get moving; I need to find the bastard who sliced open some guy named Charlie Eppes
>You scared me to death! I was like "WHAT????"
well she needed to get Don out there, and didn't want him asking questions of anyone but the people she knew he'd run into.

>Again, really enjoyed the interaction of Val and Amita.
gracias.

>Now I'm all curious about this tightrope Callie's walking
remember that Elsbeth wanted to retire and had/has a relationship too.

not sure what Callie's thoughts are on retirement, but it might explain why she hasn't proposed to Colby by now.

> while I simultaneously find it endearing that Amita asked if she had a file. Curious even in the midst of crisis. Adorable.
very much so, yes.

>Really loved the bait vs. lure discussion with Nikki and Janet. haha.
good to hear - I'm just glad I stopped them before they reached the "fish or cut bait" remarks.

>Love this dialogue between Colby and David. Loved that Colby knew David had something to ask without David saying anything. Also love that we find out here that Callie and Colby are engaged. Please excuse me while I flail. I find that really intriguing and romantic given Callie's "superagent" status. Good to know she has a place in her heart and not just her bed for Agent Granger. :)
is this a bad time to ask what is the shape of her bed? (square? heart?)

>HAHAHAHAHAHA! That's a very good reminder to self Colby. Poor thing.
superagents throwing their loved ones, really seems to be turning into a (meme? trope?) for me...Bourne fic: "Cautious and Careful".

>Really loved that whole David sequence and am fascinated by the fact that David was on the list to be recruited. David as an Immortal. He wouldn't know what to do with himself around all those beautiful women. haha.
fear of pinching himself? :D

> My money is on the fact he would have been in love with Elsbeth. LOL.
that would be interesting.

>Thoroughly enjoyed Liz and Poe talking about the agency and Liz's thoughts about how she would have signed up when she was remaking herself. That was a very good piece of canon to bring in and a great insight into her character.
thanks;

>O_o What are you doing to me here???
hey, I promised not to kill anyone, didn't I? ;)

> LOL. Marlowe surely has alternate plans.
she doesn't need them.

some hints: what is David's favorite game?

> Damn. How long do I have to wait for Part 5? LOL.
not that long.

>EDITED (to fix some typos)
I saw none.

> AND to add: Something I also meant to say was - I'm really blown away by the dialogue here.
Kotsonis-muse: "don't look at me - they don't let me bring my own explosives to dances any more."

> I know i mentioned before, dialogue is supposed to be one of the hardest things to write in fiction
for me, scenery and description are the toughest parts.

> and here it seems you've mastered it between SO many different characters.
I just try to make sure I can hear their voices.

...which is tough because Kim and Val keep switching positions.

> You really can hear the different voices which in itself is amazing. Really looking forward to the last two parts.

hahaha. ;p (I would assume it's square so she could always see all the angles. LOL.

I've never read fanfic outside of Numb3rs and/or The Mentalist... but your Bourne fic was lovely (even though I had to remember who Nikky was. haha! I haven't seen those movies for a really long time.)

Scenery and description are what hang me up too - because I can see the scene so clearly in my head, if it doesn't translate to paper, I won't keep writing the fic. *sighs*

I just try to make sure I can hear their voices.

And you're doing a wonderful job. Can't wait for more!

makes sense.

(I knew if I didn't say '(square? heart)', one answer would be "rumpled." ;D

oh.

normally I write Big Bang Theory gen or Penny/Sheldon...though today, I found Penny/Raj.

many thanks, particularly with you not having seen it lately.

HAHAHAHAHA! Again, you know Callie so well. ;p

Regarding the fanfic I've not read/have read, I'm not opposed to outside fandoms... it just happens that until recently, Numb3rs and the Mentalist were the only two I really knew anything about. haha. That's the price I pay for not watching TV. LOL. I'll probably read some Big Bang Theory when we finally get all caught up. We're almost done with Season 2. Just one more season to go after that. :)

it was essentially my introduction to Callie. :D

just avoid all episodes with Leonard's mother.
(as I once wrote Sheldon saying in a ficlet, "Freud does not work that way")

haha. that's true. so very true. I went back and read The Sparkling Series not too long ago, and couldn't believe I'd written it. that was a lot of fun. :)

haha. Funny you should mention that. I saw her for the first time yesterday. I really thought she and Sheldon were going to get it on. LOL. Very interesting that one. I'm assuming this means she comes back?

it's pure awesomesauce, of course you wrote it.

in complete agreement.

I have failed you. I took too long to warn you.

sadly, she does...the preview I saw, had her kissing him (and I do mean that in a unilateral sense), and heard from others afterwards that that was the high point of teh episode.

Oh my. Well. It's good that you warned me before all that. I didn't mind her so much in this first episode. I could see how she gets worse. LOL. Thanks for the head's up!!! :)

here's my train of thought when I read that:

"Episodes with the older Hofstader are my Janus List."
"Would Candi have appreciated it if someone had warned her ahead of time to not watch Janus List?"
"Cookies!"
"At least with Janus List, the trick is waiting until Trust Metric is about to air, before seeing it. The equivilent here would be - any Big Bang Theory episodes without the elder Hofstader."

I'd heard a rumor that Sheldon's mother would be there also...but the rumors about (and preview of) the kiss, made me not see it.

now you know all I do.

"Would Candi have appreciated it if someone had warned her ahead of time to not watch Janus List?"

Yes. Yes she would have. LOL. Man, I STILL can't watch that episode.

We watched another Big Bang last night, where they take a train to San Fransisco and we find out that Sheldon's grandma calls him MoonPie because he's "nummy nummy and she could just eat me up." ROFL. There were tears I was laughing so hard. Oh, Sheldon. You poor socially inept boy.

did you once say that you can tolerate it, so long as you watch 'Trust Metric' immediately afterward? (or is my memory faulty there?)

>where they take a train to San Fransisco
that was the one with Summer Glau and Dr. Smoot, right? (it was fitting Smoot guest starred on the show, given its name)

I'm honestly not sure if Sheldon and Amita would tear into one another's work, or if they'd be indifferent, or

oh ghod

? Sheldon/Amita ?

Yes and no. LOL. Yes, Trust Metric makes The Janus List more tolerable, but the problem then becomes I don't like Trust Metric either. I know, I know. This was one of Colby's best episodes and he spent most of the time nearly shirtless and blah blah blah. Fact: He died in that episode. I... was not amused. So, unless I watch those two and then Hollywood Homicide to see Colby alive and well... I don't watch any of them. (You'd think I'd be able to let it go after all this time, but... no. Not really. LOL.)

Yes, that would be the one. :)

? Sheldon/Amita ?

While Amita is used to dealing with eccentric geniuses, I'm not entirely convinced Sheldon would know what to do with a beautiful woman (in general) but especially not one who can understand what he does AND has her own work that he'd likely deem useful and appropriate. LOL. It would be interesting to see Raj, Howard and Leonard react to that though. Amita and Sheldon, that's... a visual. LOL.
