Another interesting case would be the Marvel superhero Daredevil, who is blind but effectively has radar.

The Doctor said it's a quantum thing, so just being perceived is probably sufficient.

I sure hope they provide a good reason for ignoring the rule of "if a Weeping Angel touches someone, that person is sent back in time."

I see a lot of people saying this. I guess they didn't hear the clip I did of Moffat saying [I paraphrase, not recalling verbatim], "The first lot the Doctor ran into were a small set of scavengers. This lot is bigger and Has A Plan." Or hear the Doctor say the same thing when he saw the recording that later menaced Amy.

this lot *is* bigger, true...but they were starving and eroding as well.

I always figured that telling a Weeping Angel not to send someone through time when they touch, would be like telling a lamprey to chew his food.
(they have no jaws)

Also: I see people complaining, "I thought they sent people through time when they touched them, not killed them!", but I've watched it twice now and not seen the Angels touch anyone. edit Let me be more specific: I hear screams while the lights are on and the angels are immobile.
