I didn't think about it when my hard drive stopped, because I figured I had it in lj or somewhere.
but I just went through my lj account, and I couldn't find it.
the title was "Sierra Watson."
it was in the Dollhouse fandom...it centered on Sierra, who had been given the mind of the (false) first American woman to have gone into space. by the name of Sierra Chambers-Watson.
it had Boyd, Ivy, Topher, Adelle, and Victor.
I even checked the Dollhouse lj comms I'm a member of.
