BOOKS! (and a bad muse)
I've barely started reading Whisper to the Blood, one of the Kate Shugak novels by Dana Stabenow, and my muses are already asking me to write a Kate Shugak / Yiddish Policeman's Union crossover.
The closest thing to a plot bunny I have, though is either that Kate takes a vacation, or...well, actually, that's all.
Though while I was looking for the Kate Shugak novels, I came across the novel City of Dragons by Kelli Stanley. Takes place in San Francisco, 1940. Miranda Corbie is a private investigator (and was a nurse in the Spanish Civil War).
...this book's on my to-read list, right after I finish reading a second Kate Shugak novel.
