Give me the title of a story I've never written, and feedback telling me what you liked best about it, and I will tell you any of: the first sentence, the last sentence, the thing that made me want to write it, the biggest problem I had while writing it, why it almost never got posted, the scene

I kept thinking that you had done this meme before becuase that's where we got the AU Callie/Don Criminal!Fic idea from... but I couldn't remember for the life of me where we'd posted stuff. Then I remember you had emailed me fic (or maybe posted). I can't seem to find it now though! I remember Don had used a special blend of ink for Callie's tattoo... *scrunches up nose* where is it?

But yeah... I'd always love to know more about the entry I gave you before: here. I still like to dabble in that universe when my Don muse isn't busy making babies with Em or raising them. haha.

I'm a little out of sorts today I guess. I missed that you said "revived" but it still drove me crazy that I couldn't find that Callie/Don fic. I found it now though and feel better. I thought I had it saved to my memories. All very confusing. LOL.

Maybe I'll see if I can come up with something new... but I do have fun with the Callie/Don AU. :)

hahaha. The Emily in my head just said "OH YUMMY!" but then immediately scrunched her nose up. I think that's because she and Colby spend so much time talking about Callie in my head that she's a little grossed out by him. haha.

Emily could be with Ian... and they are both tracking Don and Callie. hehehe. OOOOOOOOOOOOOH... or she could be with Billy Cooper. Fugitive Recovery. (If Tina were reading this right now, she'd have to agree... LOL.)

'Not the Story of David'

I knew I couldn't do justice to the hot-and-heavy nature of Don and Callie's relationship, so I took a different branch in their history: after each mission, they celebrated together...but after a while (a few years? I couldn't figure that out, so I left it vague), Don spent more time in the planning of missions than he did celebrating, which stung Callie increasingly, so she tried to talk to Charlie - a plan that didn't go the way Callie or Charlie could have predicted. (of course, to Don, it looked like she was turning on him)

...and so was born Not the Story of David.

The first sentence: Never one for ritual, Don Eppes had no problem tickling Callie awake.

(I know, I know, the first paragraph was "It's still the same old story, a fight for love and glory, a case of do or die."..but that's from Casablanca, so I figured it didn't count for this question)

The last sentence paragraph: Life in prison - and did somebody think they were doing him a favor there? - or die right here. It wouldn't be suicide-by-cop, oh no, I'm

Man, this just makes me want to team up with you to make this whole big universe. LOL. I think it could be a lot of fun to write Callie/Don criminal/Leverage type fic. If I didn't have so much other stuff to do... and the fact that my Colby muse might never forgive me. haha.

a subset of universes - in one, they stay together; in another one betrays the other; in another, they enter politics; etc.

it's entirely possible that one sub-universe might have Callie be torn in her affections..."Don or Colby?"

...and in still another, it's Colby who convinces Callie to defect.

*eg* Colby takes it upon himself to get Callie to drop her loyalty to the Chinese Government! (yes, a sizable AU)
