(and other N3 spoilers from tonight)

tonight's NUMB3RS:

* gah! if you're not supposed to have ID on your person, WHY do you have a phone number on you??

* the first time I watched this episode, I left the room once or twice, but I still had a feeling that Floyd was a conspiracy enthusiast who dressed formal and spoke technical (as opposed to the other conspiracy folks in this ep and prior eps, who aren't likely to pass muster if they claim to work for the Government)

* This guy strikes me as a re-imagining (or a remake) of the title character from John Doe - he knows everything about everything in the abstract, but when it comes to real things...

* poor Colby...can you imagine what the conversation was like when he was driving Floyd over to Cal Sci?

* What was the look Amita had on her face right after this exchange?:
"...a dead person's computer? It's hardly my first time."
"No, I imagine its not."

* Happy Birthday Margaret Eppes!

* maybe its just me, but I have a feeling that, even if they'd had a daughter (kid#3?), the daughter would want Amita to have the necklace.

* I didn't know that about the TANK.

* "For a Jewish guy, you sure like putting yourself up on the cross."
ah, David, there are two explanations:

- after 2,000 years of persecution, self-flagelation is easy.
(that and Judaism might actually have had more millenial movements than Christianity, but I could be wrong.

- Don really is the Messiah.
