ep reviews: Monk & Leverage

Aug 13, 2009 01:35

the season pilot of MONK:
please please please tell me that that is Reena Sofer (the aide to Monk's favorite actress). I remember her from The Chronicle and Blind Justice.

tonight's LEVERAGE:

* Hardison had a good question at the outset - how do you steal back someone's good name?

* though Eliot came up with that "corrupt cop" way too fast...(or it would've been too fast if there hadn't been a baddad relying on cops looking the other way, in last week's ep)

* poor Parker, relying on con-men to tell her if urban legends are true or not.

* Parker plays dead good/well, definately.

* "I've never been caught before," which is a Parker statement we can easily believe.

* I think this is the first time Parker's ever given a high-five onscreen.

* "I like it when we trade roles," Parker said taking the gas mask off her face.

* all in all, it was a nice look at how the team fares when they try doing one anothers' usual specialties.

* "am I that creepy?" "hell yes."

* magnetic eraser.

* kinda surprised Hunter didn't shout into the cameras about her 3-star source...then the Pentagon could've said "no, that's not the guy - this is," and show the real one.

* The Outer Limits!!
