Stealing a look at the order form stapled to the pizza box, Charlie asked, “Kosher sausage?”
“Yeah,” Robin said, not looking up from where she was setting the table.
“Isn’t that…you know, vegetarian?”
“Nope.”
“Then I’m afraid to ask what it comes from.”
“Probably the same place,” Alan remarked, coming in the room with Don, each of them carrying a salad bowl, “as the hot dogs your Aunt Irene buys.”
“You really didn’t have to do this,” Don said to Robin.
“True. But you bought dinner last time.”
“Yeah, that just makes it Charlie’s turn tonight.”
“Hey!” the younger brother exclaimed.
