As such, due to my grievous (if only to myself) error, I'm now taking Shihan requests to finish up the last 9 days for the Shihanaday drabble a month challenge.

Question though, if I choose 34, does it have to Shihan specific or can they be background?

If you choose to do 34, they can be background. But the no crack rule still applies. There's a lot to work with there. :3
