OMENS: "Grandma's Boy," As Sales Slip, Nintendo Faces Uncertain Future

Jul 19, 2011 22:21

I finally saw "Grandma's Boy" for the first time. I was an Extra for that when they were doing the wedding scene.

One thing I also found surprising was when they did the scene at the Hamburger joint and said that the grandmother's house was just up the road. If that was the one off of Benton Exit in Downtown Hollywood, that was near where I lived.

In retrospect, I think I vaguely remember them posting up signs around the area about how they were filming "Grandma's Boy" there. We'd have to take shuttle buses as Extras over there.

When they were filming the wedding scene, they were shooting the entire day. This guy with glasses came over because one of the female casting directors pointed me out. He walked up to me and asked if I wanted to do a scene for "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo."

They needed someone with an Asian skin tone to pull a Tootsie Roll out of his crotch. So if you watch "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo" and the
scene where they're showing their "packages," that Asian hand you see pulling a Tootsie Roll out is mine.

The guy with the glasses introduced me to Rob Schneider's brother. He was a nice guy.

My only disappointment was that the guy with the glasses, who might have been a producer, was telling me that doing this would get me a SAG voucher and to just handle the details with the Casting Director.

When the shooting was finally done at the end of the shooting period, I stayed behind told the guy. The reason why I remember this guy is because he looked like Lorenzo Lamas with a long blonde hair and a moustache with goatee.

I guess that blonde guy hadn't been told about what the arrangement was or where I was to get a SAG Voucher. He and this other person writing down the ticket vouchers for who gets what pay sat down at this long table.

He looked across at me and asked, "So what do you want?"

I said, "I don't know, I was just supposed to tell you what that guy said." He just stared at me for about like 5 seconds, looked at the other guy writing out the other tickets, and said nothing and just wrote me out a regular ticket.

I figure because it was a long shooting day and they didn't want to deal with the hassle of filling out whatever paperwork and didn't think I'd know what either way or that no one would ever find out or care that it would just be something that would fall into obscurity.

I personally don't hold that guy responsible or have any ill feelings. It's not like that SAG voucher would have changed my life or opened the floodgates of stardom, but it just goes to show how you can get passed up.

Though I'd also point out that I'm a terrible actor.

No voice coaching, no projection and volume, meek, and not Celebrity quality. That was a dream long ago to be a Celebrity and an Actor/Model when I was out in Hollywood. However, just like with all other dreams that people have when they go to Hollywood to be come a Star, those dreams don't always happen.

NEVADA AS 10/31

One thing I'd also point out is that regarding that "Grandma's Boy" encounter with Rob Schneider's brother that Rob Schneider is born 10/31.

That's when Nevada became a U.S. State. I'm 5/29 when Rhode Island and Wisconsin became a State.

I just met Rebecca on Second Life who is a manager of Gentlemen's Clubs and Escorts in Nevada and Miami. She's born 10/31.

She had told me yesterday that she had gone Horseback Riding. I watched "Wedding Planner" starring Jennifer Lopez with my mom.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0209475/

There's a scene where the horse spooks because of the fiancee's mother screaming scares the horse.

My other Psychic friend Shalenda had looked me up today and said she had seen someone with a Superman T-Shirt walk past her while she was waiting for a cab. She knows about my Superman Software Program. So she thought she'd look me up.

I told her that it's probably because of the last week where I've been citing Taxi Cabs and the "Cash Cab" in Blog Entry #3899016 in Vancouver that accidentally killed a pedestrian.

She had asked me what 11/4 meant. I said I didn't see anything significant other than the birthday of Matthew McConaughey and where 11/4 is the reversal of Sinopia's husband born 4/11.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000190/

Considering that Matthew McConaughey is born 11/4 and Jennifer Lopez is in the news about divorcing Marc Anthony that aligns with the movie where she doesn't go through with her wedding ot Massimo, that's alignment.

http://new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/stopthepresses/392227/lopez-and-anthony-showed-signs-of-marital-problems-insiders-say

Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez had already been married, but let me show you Psychic Forensics:

1) 11/4 for Matthew McConaughey is the reversal of 4/11 for Sinopia's husband

2) Massimo is played by Justin Chambers born 7/11 like actor Michael Rosenbaum who plays Lex Luthor in "Smallville"

3) Sinopia has a Supergirl Tag

4) Supergirl was dating Lex Luthor

5) In Crisis of Multiple Worlds, one Superman is seen holding the deceased body of Supergirl while the other Superman is holding the deceased body of Wonder Woman

6) Jennifer Lopez is born 7/24 like actress Lynda Carter who played Wonder Woman

If Supergirl and Wonder Woman are set equal to each other, Sinopia has a Supergirl Tag, 11/4 is the reversal of 4/11 for Sinopia's husband, Matthew McConaughey is born 11/4 in the movie Wedding Planner with Jennifer Lopez born 7/24 like Lynda Carter as Wondre Woman, then the divorce with Marc Anthony born 7/11 like Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor is alignment with the Comics.

CHEMICAL REACTIONS VS. FILM PRODUCTION

Yes, it sounds convoluted.

However, complex Algebra Equations are solving for multiple elements.

It means that when Conditions A, B, C, D, E, and F satisfy the requirements, then you get the Green Light allowing it to happen.

The same is seen with Chemical Reactions. In order to create an effect, you need multiple things to be set up to happen.

Anyone who works in Hollywood like with the Film Crew knows that you have to set up all the equipment, lightning, and whatever else is needed to do the shoot. Multimillion dollar movies cost money because you have to pay for the Film Crew aside from the actor salaries to set up each and every scene to create the best conditions needed for a good film reel.

That's the same thing with producing a major Psychic Manifestation that is seen on a Global Scale or affecting Celebrity Lives.

During the lat week that I was bitching at Sinopia about her Blood Pact she reneged on, all that crap and garbage I'm seeing polluting the Data Stream is what happens when things go awry and when people don't hold up their end of the contract.

All the backup clauses are the "negative" elements that come into play that are satisfied to create repercussions.

That's all contracts boil down to if you were to look at them as Chemical Reactions.

I had told Sinopia that even Celebrities and people's lives are influenced by the Subconscious Collective by determining the day they are born, the day they marry, the day they have kids, and the day they die.

That's a really big deal.

With Sinopia, I was unhappy because she wanted the Subconscious Collective to punish the man who raped her daughter. The sad part is that time folds in on itself.

The daughter's grandfather Kenneth (her ex-husband's father) shares the same name as the rapist. One of the creators of Supergirl is born 8/26 like Sinopia's other daughter that didn't get raped.

A rape is forced entry. It's forcing information onto someone. Sinopia tripped things up.

Sinopia has a daughter tag. Just like rebellious children that want to slam their bedroom door and shut their parents out, I had told Sinopia that I'm like her Father in the Psychic Field. As her "parent," the rules operate differently.

That goes for other people that take a rebellious attitude thinking that they can just blot me out or mute me. The way the Subconscious Collective works is they seep into your environment and start affecting everything around you. So even if you shut "me" (Rod) out, your physical environment is affected.

That's why I still am curious to find out how the story ends with Isabe11a, Bliss, and even Robyn herself. It will be interesting to see what happens in their lives when they start decrypting all the number tags and things around them in their real lives that have started conforming to the Software Program that is blanketing their environment and affecting the people around them.

I'm willing to bet that if Isabe11a, Bliss, and Robyn are on Second Life that whomever their friends are on Second Life have very unusual rez dates or real life birthdates.

It's insidious though because you won't know who's being slipped into your life unless you directly ask them what their birthdates are.

On a side note, I'd mention that in "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo" that adult model Kelly Brook is the Woman in the Painting. Bliss would always talk about how she looks like Kelly Brook.

If Bliss has a Kelly Brook tag while I'm the one pulling a Tootsie Roll out of my crotch in "Deuce Bigalow," that's where you get intersection of 2 individuals.

GRANDMA'S BOY

I wanted to say that I was really impressed with Allen Calvert's movie "Grandma's Boy." I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I like stupid movies like "Anchorman: Legend of Ron Burgundy," but sometimes... there's only so much stupid humor you can take.

I state that a lot of the stupid movies are actual Prophetic because it allows the Subconscious Collective to slip in news about what's happening in a medium that would be accepted because if you tried to explain it directly, it would sound so nonsensical no one would believe it.

For example, I talk about how Steve Carell's character Brick Tamlin kills one of the anchormen with a Trident. Afterward, Ron Burgundy is saying that Brick may want to go into hiding or lay low for a while.

It's stupid in a funny way, but if people realized that someone really did die from a Trident or was killed in such a manner... it's not so funny.

However, you can break the news to people that way.

Bear in mind that when I say someone was killed by a Trident, I mean more figuratively in which a Video Game Character like on World of WarCraft was killed in a Player vs. Player (PvP) format.

The reason why I liked "Grandma's Boy" is because his character as a 35 year old game programmer is much like me. I'm 36 years old now, and I've been spending the last 7 years working on a Psychic Video Game Software Program.

You always hear me talking about the Software Programs I use. I've been building that Software Program. There's a scene where J.P. is going over the game and marveling at how well it was constructed.

That's just like my Psychic Software Program and the way I designed it.

I'd also point out that Joel David Moore is in business with actory Zachary Levi as Chuck.

As Sales Slip, Nintendo Faces Uncertain Future

Gaps Solitaire

Wii U Nintendo The winds of change blow swift and fierce in the video game console war. And it appears as though the once-unbeatable Nintendo is in danger of being blown clear off its perch.

It's a little hard to imagine the company falling out of the top spot, which they've gripped firmly for the past few years on the strength of their indomitable DS handheld and mass market miracle Wii. By way of innovative tech and user-friendly games, both systems set sales records, helping the company make competitors Microsoft and Sony look like outdated players in a quickly changing landscape.

But that finicky landscape is now leaving Nintendo in the dust.

Despite loads of hype and terrific press, the company has hit a snag with its 3DS handheld, a system that was supposed to usher in a new era of 3D gaming. It's yet to happen. 3DS sales have been lackluster and at times downright depressing; June even saw the venerable DS line outsell its shinier, fancier cousin.

And due to a lack of software and increasingly outdated tech, Wii sales have positively floundered. Analysts have noted that, compared to last June, Wii software sales dipped a stunning 75%, and monthly sales of the system itself are routinely eclipsed by Microsoft's Xbox 360. Based on the rest of 2011's Wii lineup -- highlighted by The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, a new Kirby game and very little else - sales are likely going to keep dropping until the company releases their next hopeful hit, the Wii U.

In other words, 2011 isn't going to be easy.

"Until Wii U is available, the new console's short term impact will be negative on the market, particularly on Nintendo's share," said analyst Billy Pidgeon of M2 Research. "Wii hardware uptake has been slowing in the U.S. for over a year, and sales will now drag even lower with the announcement of a new system. New high value Wii titles such as Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword are likely to improve Wii software sales, but third party Wii title performance remains sluggish."

Check out Nintendo's Biggest Hits...and Misses

Even Nintendo's vociferous fan base is beginning to show signs of mutiny. The company's refusal to bring a few very popular Japanese releases to the U.S. sparked a fan-inspired letter-writing campaign, though it hasn't paid off. And despite news indicating that Nintendo was finally joining the smartphone party by bringing Pokemon to mobile users, the company quickly shot down any thoughts that they're about to change course and start supporting Apple.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS Nintendo Their strategy for only making software for Nintendo devices "hasn't changed and won't change," company spokesperson Yasuhiro Minagawa told Bloomberg, leading to an abrupt drop in share price.

It's not all doom and gloom, however. Their critically-acclaimed remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the 3DS became the first title for the handheld to crack the Top 10, indicating that gamers are plenty interested in good software for the machine. With a slate of big 3DS releases due out this holiday -- including 3D takes on Mario Kart, Kid Icarus and Super Mario -- Nintendo hopes the system will help offset what's bound to be a slow holiday for the Wii.

And then there's that curious Wii U, which many believe is what the company needs to get back on track.

"Nintendo's hopes are all resting on the success of the Wii U," says Russ Frushtick, Games Editor for MTV News. "If that new console is able to provide comparable features to the 360 and PS3, while adding unique features all its own, there's hope that Nintendo can get back into the race.

"This is all a matter of weathering the storm until the new console releases," he adds.

Due out sometime in 2012, the Wii follow-up hopes to emulate the success of its big brother by emphasizing an innovative touchscreen controller, which will let players take their game off the TV and into their laps. The system also boasts HD graphics, but questions remain about its online game plan -- an area where Nintendo has traditionally fallen behind.

The good news is that Nintendo has plenty of time to dial in the Wii U, which, barring any sort of eleventh hour announcement from Microsoft or Sony, will make Nintendo the first of the big three to take the next console step. On the other hand, being first hasn't always paid off for console manufacturers. Sega, once a proud competitor in the hardware space, learned this the hard way with their beloved but ultimately doomed Dreamcast system, which was released just prior to the Playstation 2, Xbox and Gamecube trio. Three years later, it was discontinued, effectively ending Sega's run as a hardware maker.

Will the Wii U suffer the same fate? It's certainly unlikely -- there's loads of consumer interest in the system -- but time isn't necessarily on Nintendo's side.

"Unfortunately, [2012] is still a long way away and new consoles tend to take at least a year before they really hit their stride," warns Frushtick.

What do you think? Is Nintendo in trouble, or will the Wii U and 3DS win out in the end? Chime in below!

Lopez And Anthony Showed Signs Of Marital Problems, Insiders Say
Posted Tue Jul 19, 2011 3:55pm PDT by Billy Johnson, Jr. in Stop The Presses!

Now that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have announced their plans to end their seven-year marriage, insiders are recalling signs that may have indicated that the couple was having problems.

Us Weekly reports that Anthony wanted to select Lopez's wardrobe last year during a photo shoot for her Style Icon Of The Decade spread.

Anthony urged the magazine not to use a photo of Lopez he considered to be "too sexy and unbecoming for a 40-year-old mother of two," an unnamed source told Us.

"He would make her feel terrible about herself if she wanted to wear something sexy," added another source. "He likes her to dress in a demure, ‘wife' style. He hated the fact that she was a sex symbol."

Marc was described as generally being "very dominating" by yet another insider. "He wants to control everything Jennifer does."

A spokesperson for Anthony did not respond to Yahoo! by press time.

On July 2 -- 13 days before Lopez and Anthony released a statement about their impending divorce -- Lopez appeared on HSN to promote her new fragrance, Love And Light.

TV Guide made a montage of video clips of Lopez discussing love and relationships -- including Anthony -- during her network visit.

When commenting about the couple's chemistry during their performance on the "American Idol" finale, the HSN host Diana Perkovic described the pair as "in love." Lopez responded with a polite correction, "Yes, we do love each other."

Lopez told Perkovic the concept of her 2010 perfume, Love And Glamour, was about "love and your relationship and your glamorous life, and everything sorta outside of you."

Lopez said Love And Light takes a different focus. "I wanted to go to the core of who you are and what is really inside you," she said.

In a separate interview with HSN's Colleen Lopez, the entertainment mogul said, "Really the most important relationship that you have is with yourself. Life is really about change. And sometimes that can be scary. But the truth is, you have to do that. You have to push yourself so you can breakthrough your own boundaries and try new things and do new things."

People magazine reported that Lopez and Anthony made their last public appearance together on June 7 at the Samsung Hope For Children Gala in New York.

Anthony did not join Lopez when she met the royal couple Prince William, Duke Of Cambridge, and Catherine, Duchess Of Cambridge, on July 9. Lopez's mother, Guadalupe, joined her instead.
