SIGNS: Katy Perry vs. Kitty Purry
I was under the impression that Katy Perry's feline Kitty Purry making a home in a Shark-Shaped bed was a reference to her song "Firework" that is used on the soundtrack of "Soul Surfer." Every time you see the commercial come up, they break out into that song.
It's a story where this female surfer is the victim of a shark attack and loses her arm. So she has to learn how to surf without it.
If it's subtle promotion of a movie on Katy Perry's part, that's great. However, if Katy Perry really hadn't given it thought, then I'd claim that Subconscious Katy Perry knew.
Here's why I claim this event is of Psychic Significance:
1) Katy Perry's Initials are KP
2) K = 11th Letter
3) P = 16th Letter
4) KP = 11/16
5) Actress AnnaSophia Robb was the daughter of Missi Pyle's character in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"
6) Missi Pyle's birthday is 11/16
7) 11/16 is also when Oklahoma became a State
I happen to notice AnnaSophia Robb because she's born 12/8 like my mum.

When it comes to celebrity power, few can touch pop star Katy Perry. However, Kitty Purry, Katy's pet cat, comes within a whisker or two -- at least on Twitter.
After Katy tweeted a photo of the fluffy grey feline hanging out in her super-swanky shark bed, online interest in the kitty roared, and the photo quickly went viral. The term "kitty purry" became one of the hottest topics on Twitter. Comments on the photo ranged from "a-dor-able" to "awww" to "kitty purry LOL" to "I wish I had a bed like that" (join the club).
According to The Inquisitr, Kitty Purry isn't Katy's only pet cat. She and husband Russell Brand also look after Morrissey (named after the Smiths singer, of course) and Krusty (apparently "a combination of the pop star’s name and the comedian’s nickname 'Rusty'"). Lest you continue to doubt Katy's obession with cats, don't forget that she named her fragrance "Purr."
Not every celeb in Hollywood has a pet, but those who do tend to give their furry companions unique names. Adam Sandler has a bulldog named Matzoball. Christina Ricci has a pup named Sheriff Steve Goldburg. And, perhaps most bizarrely, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck share custody of a Labrador named (drumroll please) Martha Stewart.
