SIGNS: Rhode Island DMV Services to Be Suspended
News states that Rhdoe Island's DMV Services will be suspended on Monday because of a Computer Database Upgrade. Rhode Island became State on 5/29, which is my birthday.
I've been waiting for the CA DMV to mail me my Drivers License record so that the WA DMV will verify mine so that I can finally get my license. It's been almost 2 months now, and I haven't been able to drive on the road.

CRANSTON, R.I. (AP) - Rhode Island drivers won't be able to renew their licenses or permits on Monday because of a computer database upgrade.
The closure is part of a required upgrade of the nation-wide computer system that allows the Division of Motor Vehicles to process all driving licenses and IDs.
None of the DMV offices will be able to process driver licenses, permits, renewals or duplicates, reinstatements of suspended licenses or other similar services.
All road testing scheduled for Monday will be done at the Melrose Road facility in Providence.
