Dear Mr. Steve Strassburg,
I found your name on the Web Development Team for Dreamcart. I chose to contact you because you're from Washington State like my Parents live in Kitsap County.
I would greatly appreciate some advice or tips you can give me on how to set up a store off of my web site. I was using "One-Click Software" from Dreamhost.com.
My objective is to sell merchandise such as Dice, Tarot Cards, Ouija Boards, and merchandise relating to the Occult. One of the companies I would especially like to sell merchandise for is Wizards of the Coast (http://wizards.com) based in Renton, WA. I use their "Magic' Trading Cards as a Divination Tool.
I really don't want to carry or hold any merchandise and I'm hoping that I can find Vendors that already carry it in stock and then refer users to purchasing from there. If possible, it wold be nice to simply extract a fee or extra cost tacked on for having sold it and get credit. I was wondering if ZenCart Software has a method of doing such things or if you know of a better way of carrying out that objective.
I'm in the process of making contacts with Gaming Stores and Occult stores around the United States that I would like to use as a affiliates so if any customers visiting my web site can also get a discount or store credit with these affiliates. Can ZenCart be configured in such away so that it gives receipts or some form of proof of purchase that can be used with these affiliates?
My other question is regarding the merchandise. One of the things I would like to sell are Psychic Readings, drawing Sigils (Symbols), and creating "Mathematical Software Prayers" that are in E-mail Format. If the merchandise is E-mail, what is the best way to configure ZenCart? I was looking at PayPal and I noticed that they have an E-mail Invoice Prcess that looks promising. It's where you send someone an E-mail with an E-mail Invoice and then the person clicks on the link where they're redireted to al ink to pay their Invoice. Does ZenCart have some similar method for such transactions?
I apologize for the length. If there are any tips your advice you could give, I'd be greatly appreciative. I'd also be happy to place a Banner for your business on my page if you like. I'm unsure what exactly your business is, but depending on the merchandise, I can actually weave "Psychic Spells" to any physical object. It's a form of White Witchcraft.
If I have customers who would like "Protective Wards" in the form of Embroidery, I could probably have images scanned and E-mailed to you if they use your services or products. It doesn't matter what the Physical Object is. All that matters is the Symbolism. If there's some kind of business arrangement, I'd be happy to promote your services.

I just finished installing ZenCart into store.rodillon.com.
The store I want to set up sells the following merchandise:
1) E-mail products and Advice. I had studied how PayPal has a feature with E-mail Invoicing where you can E-mail someone a bill and it will send them to a link where they can pay. I am giving Readings or Advice in that format. Does ZenCart have a way of setting up something similiar?
2) I'm in the process of contacting Vendors where I'd like to be able to sell their merchandise running off my store. Such items would include Tarot Decks, "Magic" the Gathering Cards, Dice, Ouija Boards, and Occult items. I don't want to carry any merchandise on stock. Do you know if there's a way I can set up business arrangements where people can purchase items through me at a higher price and then I can turn around and purchase through other vendors?
3) When I set things up in the store.rodillon.com directory, is there a document I should be reading on how to set up and add products?
4) Do you know of any literature on effective ways of setting up affiliations with other vendors? I intend to contact vendors around the United States to have them subscribe as affiliates where customers can purchase merchandise through me but if they go to those affiliates, they can get store credits or store discounts. Does ZenCart have any setup that would smooth the transition or flow of money to ensure that I get credited for the purchase of such merchandise through other vendors?
5) I really like the way you've set up the One-Click Installation. With what I'm doing, can you recommend any other software programs I should set up?
6) I've currently got a "Blog" set up and running off of my account that I've been maintaining. Does one of those software programs know how to set up a Blog System that can run off of Dreamhost for my web site so I can just input Journal Entries and where they would have some kind of database system just like LiveJournal.com making my life easier compared to having to manually update pages?
