SIGNS: Adams Leads Arizona to Thrilling Upset of Washington

Dec 31, 2005 17:40

This was Arizona vs. Washington. I'm from Washington State and the opposite is symbolized by Arizona. I had a crush on Wendy Iwaszuk whose parents Tony and Tish graduated from Arizona State University. Mr. Iwaszuk was an Engineer and taught me how to play chess. Wendy's Initials are WI. WI is Wisconsin inducted 5/29 for my Birthday.
  1. I said 12/28/2005 that Isabella is Phoenix because AZ is God(A/1) Aquarius(Z). Davis is an Aquarian Male
  2. Brandon Roy: I said 12/30/2005 that my Assistant Manager was Brandon. Ro/Y = Gemini(Ro/Non-Or/Non-V/Non-5) Male(Y). That's why you had WA/Lt. D is NE-Y and Ro/y D is NE-Y and the Magical Kingdom.
  3. Adams scored a career-high 32 points: 32 = 2(Gemini) to the 5th Power(Sun)
  4. Victory over No. 7 Washington: 7 = VII for God. I said I'm from Washington State
  5. The nation's longest homecourt winning streak ended at 32 games when Kirk Walters, displaced: 32 = 2 to the 5th Power. I said 12/31/2005 about Kirk
  6. It ended the Huskies' best start since 1975: I went to the University of Washington. I was born 1975.
  7. Washington was left with Ryan Appleby's long, desperation 3-pointer at final buzzer: Ryan = Gemini(R/18/2x9) Male(Y) Indefinite(An). Apple/B-y = Mac(Apple) Gemini(B/2) Male(Y). I said 12/31/2005 that Bliss is indecisive. Bliss uses a Mac
  8. Roy leaned in on a 3-pointer between Arizona's Williams and Adams at the buzzer as he shot: I'm the Gemini Male(Ro/y). I took a long shot at Bliss and Isabella with my post about Kirk. I said 12/31/2005 about Shannon Lee as Bruce Lee's daughter. The Initials are SL for Sunny Leone
  9. "It was a miracle shot," Roy said. "It felt like a dream." I was really happy about that posting by godz_forsaken and keithcrash on isabellaval's Journal because there's no way I could've influenced them. They don't know me
  10. Arizona rallied after Olson's halftime "pep" talk within 49-46 over the first 3 1/2 minutes of the second half: OL/Son = Sunny Leone(O/15+L/50=65=5x13) Son(Christ). Bliss is CHRISTine.
  11. Jamaal Williams added 22 points for Washington: V = 22nd Letter = 5 in Roman Numerals = Leo the 5th Sign
  12. It was a Double Over Time Win. Double = 2/Gemini
This is how you get drama occuring in Sports with what's going on in the Subconscious/Psychic Realm. This comes back to the previous statment I made. If it turns out that my Readings are correct with Psychic Readings, why are all the women chewing my ass out and punishing me?

I said that innocent victims were getting injured and dying. That was reason to "bother" and flag Isabella and Sky down so they could help me stop it last year. Because I didn't get any help, I had to clean up the mess on my own. No help and no support. Plus, I have to put up with crap from other people picking on me about stuff they have no clue about.

That's why I got mad at robynz when she started opening old wounds. As if it's not enough having to do clean-up and play Janitor I have to put up with crap from other people. I didn't ask for this job. It got shoved in my lap. That's why people should get off my back if you don't have anything constructive to say and do know what's going on.

SEATTLE (Dec. 31) - Hassan Adams and Brandon Roy lived up to their billing Saturday: They were their teams' best players, in a taut, topflight game that demanded nothing less.

Adams scored a career-high 32 points - including eight points and consecutive 3-pointers in the two overtimes - to trump Roy's career high-tying 35 as Arizona rallied to a 96-95 victory over No. 7 Washington.

The nation's longest homecourt winning streak ended at 32 games when Kirk Walters, displaced in the starting lineup by freshman Marcus Williams, made a free throw with 5.1 seconds to go.

That - along with Mustafa Shakur's 23 points - gave Arizona (9-3, 2-0 Pac-10) its seventh consecutive win after trailing by 13 at halftime.

Gonzaga, which hosted Saint Joseph's on Saturday night, now has the longest home streak at 30 games.

"Oh, man. That was a great game," said Walters, who finished with three points. "We'll see if it's on ESPN Classic soon."

The Huskies (11-1, 1-1) saw their best chance to win end when Roy fouled out with 54 seconds left. That's when Williams gave Arizona a 95-94 lead with a free throw. Washington's Jamaal Williams, a 56 percent free throw shooter, tied it with 38 seconds left before Walters' answered with his winner.

Without Roy, Washington was left with Ryan Appleby's long, desperation 3-pointer at final buzzer. It fell well short. Appleby had made a 3-pointer from near halfcourt to end the first half.

Adams then stomped on the court and pulled at "Arizona" across the front of his jersey. It was a defiant exclamation of the Wildcats' second win over Washington in seven tries - and of unranked Arizona's return to national prominence.

"Man, this was big. It was emotion. It wasn't boasting," the Pac-10's scoring leader said. "That's my role on my team. My team, my coaches put that confidence in me."

It ended the Huskies' best start since 1975.

"This was probably the best game I've ever played in where my team needed me to do so much at both ends of the floor," said Roy, who had set his career high Thursday while rallying Washington past Arizona State.

He had forged the overtime on a layup with 42 seconds left in regulation and then a 3-pointer with 5.6 seconds remaining to tie it at 81. Those clutch baskets came after he had missed successive shots and two free throws once Arizona had rallied to take the lead.

Then, at the end of the first overtime, Roy leaned in on a 3-pointer between Arizona's Williams and Adams at the buzzer as he shot. The ball went through as Roy's hands were pressing down on the floor to brace his fall.

"It was a miracle shot," Roy said. "It felt like a dream."

Adams and the Wildcats had a nightmare of a first half. Adams had nine points at halftime while Arizona shot just 28 percent - including 1-for-15 from 3-point range - to fall behind 40-27.

Arizona coach Lute Olson ripped into his team for the same symbol of consistent excellence Adams ultimately trumpeted.

"I told them at the end of the half I was embarrassed to see 'Arizona' across their chests," Olson said. "We had guys out there looking scared in the first half."

Olson was riled up long before halftime. The stately looking 71-year-old sweated through his dress shirt within the game's first 10 minutes. He stomped. He punched air. At one point, he nearly ripped the sports coat off his shoulders. He also charged toward an official during a second-half timeout before Adams restrained him.

Quite a way to become the 15th coach in NCAA history (all levels) to win 750 games.

And quite a way for Arizona to respond at being unranked the last two weeks - after 312 consecutive weeks in the regular season Top 25.

"I assume we will drop out of the top 35 now," Olson said sarcastically. "We were No. 24 when we went to Utah then dropped out of the Top 25. We only won by 30 at Utah, of course.

"I hope now we can stay in the top 35."

Arizona rallied after Olson's halftime "pep" talk within 49-46 over the first 3 1/2 minutes of the second half. The Wildcats made their first three 3-point shots of the half and forced six turnovers. It also forced Washington out of the zone defense it used to turn the Wildcats cold.

Jamaal Williams added 22 points for Washington and Appleby had 12 - all on 4-for-5 3-point shooting in the first half.
