TWILIGHT SPARKLE
The pony that brought us all together, and for that, I can't owe Twilight enough. I reckon she's one of the smartest fillies in Ponyville, maybe even in all of Equestria! It's odd, though...she thinks we're still gettin' the Elements of Harmony together! Either way, I'm just happy she's here--havin' friends along makes the journey that much better.

RAINBOW DASH
One o' my best friends from back in Ponyville. She's been here longer than I have, so o' course, she thinks she knows everything. Still, I know Dash's heart will always be in the right place...or nearabouts. Gotta hand it to her, though: she's a clever one, and the fastest flyer I know. I'm glad to have her as a friend.

FLUTTERSHY
This sweet little filly is a close friend from home. She's real sensitive, but she's also mighty skilled when it comes to critters. She can be so shy sometimes that it's hard to talk to her; but once you get to know her, she blooms like a flower. I'll do my best to take care of her while we're here.

RARITY
Rarity's...well, she's my friend, really, an' I'd do anything for her, but...it's nice to be away from her, once in awhile. She's clean an' I'm dirty, she's fancy an' I'm free, she can't see the orchard for the apples an' I'm the opposite! Still, let it never be said she didn't give her all to anypony that asked it of her. We got the same core, Rarity an' I, but the flesh o' the apple just ain't the same color.

PINKIE PIE
Pinkie Pie's one cooky filly, but she sure knows how to have fun. Pinkie's got a heart o' gold and a million-watt smile to match; even if she does talk a bunch, it's hard to get upset about it. Sometimes she can get a little too silly in serious times, but at the end of the day, there ain't no one else's party I'd rather go to!

This fella was one o' Dash's friends when I met him, but now he's my pal, too! He's awful friendly and helpful, even if he can be real ornery sometimes. Who calls a foal 'Koo-row-bah', though? Still, I gotta keep at it, 'cause it'd be mighty mean o' me to call him by somethin' made-up, even if Black Feather sounds so much better...

A dragon! A real, full-grown-but-still-only-cart-size dragon! It plumb makes my head spin! Still, I reckon he's nice, even if he does get mean--but he sure ain't as cute or as friendly as Spike. I need to get 'im to try some flowers, one o' these days.

As soon as I met this filly it was like I was talkin' to Fluttershy as a hue-mun! Why, I was right shocked! I can't wait to get to know 'er better; if I'm fast friends with Fluttershy, that must mean Key-sa an' I can get along just fine, too!

She seems mighty nice, even if I just met 'er. She's been tellin' me all about the hue-mun way o' doin' things, like food, and names! She grew up with only her Pa to take care o' her, but she don't seem too tore up about it. She must be real brave, 'cause I can't imagine bein' without Big Mac' or Granny Smith...

Major! I dunno why his name's Major Major Major--guess I should ask--but it sure sounds better than a lot o' the crazy hue-mun names I been hearin' so far. Even though he's a hue-mun, he figured out that I might miss havin' ears that could move; even before I knew I missed 'em! He offered to help when Fluttershy got robbed, an' he said we should look out for each other; I couldn't agree more!

His name's Coop, like with chickens. I think it'd do him some good to smile more often, but I can tell he's a real good guy on the inside, even if he don't show it. (He's also got a real foul tongue, but I ain't repeatin' any o' that.) He was a real help when Fluttershy got robbed, so I owe 'im one.
