I know very little about some of the people on who read my journal. Some people I know relatively well. (Some I know too well. You know who you are.) I read your journals, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. Or perhaps we know each other in one area

You can think of me as one of your fellow Missourians. Whenever we experience this crazy Missouri weather, I can always say, "I wonder if it's like this where rodeomom lives." And I always think of horses, Cody's baseball, and the Cardinals when your posts come up. :)

To sum it up, I'm just a busy hardworking mom married to a quiet hardworking guy with two daughters who are as different as night and day. We live in the country with our dogs and cats and any other animals that happen to wander in. I don't watch much tv except for shows that are already off the air, or occasional reality shows. As for music, my taste is probably as varied as yours. I'll listen to 80s pop, techno, country, classical- you name it! I've had the pleasure of meeting my favorite band from the 80s- Duran Duran. LOL. I'm also a huge fan of weekend road trips whether it be to watch my daughter's cheerleading competitions or to spend quality time with family and friends. I'm not athletic but I love watching girly sports like gymnastics and figure skating. I'm also anxiously awaiting the day I'm finished with school and finally have a degree to my name.

One of these days we are going to have to meet up! I think of you every time we go near Columbia, only because I know you are somewhere around there.

Yes, I'm only about 45-55 minutes from Columbia which isn't too bad at all. They've got a wide variety of restaurants up there. Meeting you for dinner, or just plain meeting you would be awesome! We definitely need to keep that in mind.
