Eh, Ramjan is upon thee. Non-fed by day, overfed and full of gluttony by night . Barely 1-2 hours of sleep before sehri and then 2 more hours of napping, after that "voila" its morning and you have to go give multiple exams at multiple places. Running from farmgate to green-road junction , answering all sorts of crap from the preparation of hexamin (hexamethilin tetramin) to solving physics problems with postulates of Winn and Max-plank . I don't know why life can't be any easier. When my dad was admitted into BUET Mech Dept he saw people being admitted according to their sports record (like "Hey, can you play dodgeball?") , he saw people being admitted into DMC (Dhaka Med College) who came from the commerce section. Now, however flesh has become so rare in this barren land of misfortune and corruption that to-the-death competitions are obligatgory , to survive them one has to be on top of one's senses, sensing every clue, every lead , every danger like the daredevil or holmes himself.. Although, if your father is Salman F. Rahman or somehow you are related to the chairman of Boshundhora Corp , then the tables will turn. It seems to me sometimes that even though gambling has been banned in most of the religions, still why do the Almighty force us to gamble with our fate and fortune from birth till death? Like answering multiple-choice questions with (-ve) marking, where answering a question will get you more marks..but answering it wrong can cause mark deduction or negative mark addition :). There are also elements in every religion that sometimes do perplex me. Like I try to be a decent muslim (because believing in a supreme force is logically correct , even though it might appear to be an ethically unwise decision) but when there are depictions like " When in heaven you will be rewarded will ample women and your unquinchable desires will be fulfilled , so live a solemn and sane earthly life " in the great book of Quran itself , it does hurt a little. There are similar promises in all the other religions as well (except for buddism which is mostly a religion for grass eating organisms, shang-ri-la monks and mongolian pornstars) . The question here is , despite advicing us to keep off lust , why are all these religions promising us of a lustful afterlife? Doesn't this itself create a ground for mortal sin? Like, a man living a "sinless" earthly life and drooling for a lustful afterlife in his/her dreams? Heh, aatlami beshi hoiya jaitese.... Well, the truth is I'm gonna need every bit of luck in the next 5 monthes or so, wheather or not its from a pagan god or anyone else or Lord Vader I'll need it.Meanwhilst, here are some links which have kept me busy on a late nightly basis(because mostly thats when i get online)
