The time that has elapsed since college ended has been completely chaotic and ungrounded. For the last sixteen years, there's been such a game plan, something to work for, something to fight for, something to prove. Now, it's just work, cable television and intermittent visits from friends and folk.
For the last week, Allie, Jackie's bff, has been staying with us here in our little apt. It's been nice. She's got a smoothness, a calmness that's really pleasant. Even though she was here for a whole week, i dunno, it was nice. She's a good soul and I definitely see what Jackie sees in her. She's got mad appeal.
My baby cats are having a blast chasing a fly around the apartment.
It's weird how unsafe this journal feels now. Too much history, too many secret stories blazed and far too many judgmental and nosy gossips. So I'm careful now and it feels dishonest.
Congrats to a friend. I might end up a bridesmaid :)
And onwards I float. Hope to find directions soon.
