Geeeeee willllikers.
We went to Disneyland this weekend. It was lovely, of course, but god damn talk about shock when I saw the size of the Magic Kingdom castle.
"That's it?" me
"Damn, I remember that being a lot bigger when I was little..." Steve
People always talk about that experience, returning to somewhere one visited when young, only to find it half the size previously experienced. This was the first time I'd felt that jump in my body, the looking around seeing if I missed the "real" castle- maybe it's behind that puny little thing... shock and awe, my friends, shock and awe.
I'm reading Freud right now.

oh and 8 days and going strong. not even one single drag, mutha fuckas.
