An Agnostic Noel
Hello boys and girls.
After three weeks of on and off writing I have finally completed the first draft of my thirty page script. This assignment was daunting but I overcame it. There are some weak points in the script but first drafts are supposed to suck a little. Thats why you revise them.
Anyway I wont go into the story details here but anyone who is curious feel free to comment with a request. Long story short the story is about an agnostic guy who has to host a Christmas party for his religious family. While he is doing this he has to contend with relationship that's on the rocks. The title is "An Agnostic Noel". I keep thinking that the title sounds really lame lol.
The script sounds really odd summed up this way but take my word for it when I say its awesome lol.
I am three pages over the thirty page cap. This means that I will have to shave it down in revisions. I am not to worried about that however. I am just pumped to have this project done. It was a lot of work but a lot of fun. It is very rewarding doing creative writing.

On a less happy note, I am moving next weekend.
I am moving into a much dingier, much smaller, much CHEAPER apartment. I am struggling to get everything ready. I have to get everything packed.
I wont even be present to oversee the move. My parents are coming over and will be moving my stuff for me because I have to work work on a shoot that weekend. That sounds like a convenient set up for me but it has me stressed because if anything goes wrong I wont know.
The shoot I will be working on will be for my final project in a class. We have all been assigned rolls for the shoot. I will be the director, so I get to focus more on the actors than on telling the technical guys what to do. I am not a very authoritative person but I think I would feel more comfortable guiding actors than yelling at the lighting and sound guys.
I have so much going on in the next couple weeks it makes my brain melt. I am so worried that the new apartment will have something terribly wrong with it that I wont find out about until I'm there for a month or two.
It's 395 dollars a month for a SMALL bachelor apartment. Thats including hot water, electricity, and heat. All I will have to pay for after that will be phone and internet. I don't plan on getting cable because it will just distract me from work. Youtube does a good enough job at that lol.
Anyway thats my life at the moment. Again if anyone wants to hear more information about my script just ask. If you are nice/interested enough I might send you a copy.
