YEAAAAAAAHHHH!!!
I auditioned for the UCSC Wind Ensemble...and I got in!!!
All day, I was so nervous, even though I knew I could play pretty well. But I still had that silly doubt in my head. Adie helped me calm down. Thanks Adie. So then I finally went to the audition around 5pm. And the music director guy was really nice, and he seems like a fun person and band leader. AAH!!! I'm so excited!
Apparently Aaron Szasz is in the wind ensemble..hehe.
The director had me audition for the jazz band too..because I wanted to..but right now there's no openings. But he'll keep me in mind for if there are openings.
I'm gonna be playing tenor sax, like I have been in the sjsu marching band, because there was an opening for a tenor, but not an alto. I miss my alto..but I'm liking tenor, so it's all good.
