You know, I really don't appreciate your comments. I tweaked the Fever, yes. But that really doesn't give you permission to come in and scream at someone. I'm sorry if the story made you mad or whatever. It wasn't meant to be serious. But just don't yell at me, okay? Thanks!
If you don't appreciate public comments in a public journal, and can't take the time to make your story medically accurate (and yet want to write medically-based fanfic), then perhaps you should not post in a public journal in a public place, asking for public comments.
And if you don't want to be yelled at, don't yell at people first. That's seems pretty simple, too.
Just in case that's too complicated, I'll restate it: 1) don't ask for comments if you don't want them 2) don't be a jerk if you don't want people being a jerk to you
Okay. Well, I think it's time to end this. I hate arguing and it's really stupid. First, I will apologize for yelling, but you should apologize too -- it's just a simple lil work of fiction, nothing to get worked up over. And please don't treat me like I'm a baby -- that wasn't complicated. I could read it.
If you don't want to be treated like a child, stop acting like one.
For example: deleting all the posts that dislike your story, or otherwise take issue with it (which is treading VERY close to breaking community rules, and in fact I have asked for a moderator ruling regarding)? That's the kind of temper tantrum a toddler throws.
And I'm not going to apologize to you for anything. You stepped over the line, you pitched your little fit, and now you're embarrassed to have been called out in public for making blatant errors and behaving badly. That's not my issue, that's yours.
Right - you delete things from where they belong, and take it to my journal, and now you want to try to take the moral high road? Good luck with that, and good riddance.
Well I kind of can't go away as long as you keep sending me comments, now can I? That's just rude not to answer someone. (Not that I'm anyone to "take the moral high ground," you understand.)
You're not concerned about rudeness - if you were, you wouldn't have deleted everything you disliked from the Bones community. You're behaving like a stereotypical, spoiled 17 year old, hoping that your precocious chatter will charm everyone into forgetting what an arrogant idiot you are.
no, you can go away by not responding to the comments. if you must have the last word with someone in that person's own journal, well, there's a word for that.
why do you have such a problem with criticism? most people, people who aren't just looking for a self-esteem boost instead of trying to improve their craft, don't post their work in public without expecting legitimate criticism. discussing problems with factual errors is legitimate criticism. therefore, it would seem that your only purpose in posting your "fiction" is to have HUGGLEZ and SNUGGLEZ from people you don't know.
Thanks!
