Finally, I am back armed with a new arsenal of fun and exciting pictures from my extended Florida vacation.
But, first my holidays were glorious. Joyfulness rang in the cloudless snowless air of the 239. I spent a gazillion dollars, mostly on me simply because I can. I spent three weeks editing a movie for Linz which I'm not really sure she enjoyed as much as I thought she would, but that's ok because I enjoyed it and Christmas is 70% about me at this point in my life anyway. Also, I know she enjoys hearing my voice everytime she hugs the stuffed dog, CJ, that I made her.
Anyway, the holidays this year were a busy time for me. I had about 15 projects I was working on simulaneously, including the aforementioned movie, scrapbooking 2 more pages for my parents of their wedding and so on. The parentals got me a little flat screen tv, a 100 dollar gift card, and a 25 dollar gift card to Barnes and Noble. My sister got me a bar set for any future drinking adventures. There was a whole lot more I'd planned on writing about the holidays, but I think the point has been made, I'll move on.
Now that my holiday projects are done I've decided to begin a few more activities for myself. So, my time is, once again, filled. In addition to volunteering for Make-A-Wish and Naples Equestrian Challenge, I am taking a class at Edison again. I'm taking American Cinema this time around. Plus I've decided to make another movie, assuming my hard drive isn't exhausted from all the crap I've put on my computer. I'm having a small bout of writers block right now, but Wednesday I am going to attempt to get over that and get started on my script. I hope to have this film finished by February 16 so that I can enter it in the Fort Myers Beach film festival. However, things at work are starting to get crazy again, so I'm worried time is going to become an issue. I chose a bad time of year to start making a movie.
Oh, and January 31 = the big 2-1. Countdown is officially on.
I thought of two really sweet party ideas. Next time I come to Michigan we're totally having one of them. The other one will have to wait until I have loads of money. But, some crazy shit is going to go down.
Here are some random pictures that I found on my "purse camera"

About a week before Christmas we went to the outlet mall where they were having a water ski show. It was pretty cool. I took more pictures with my black and white camera, but those aren't developed yet. Then we went shopping. That was a really fun night.

New Years was so awesome. Me, Kristyn, her boyfriend Charlie, his brothers Rob and John, Rob's wife and son Melissa and Alex, Dave, Lonnie, and Kristyn's roommate Eric all went out to a bar around here called Top O' Mast. The night started out lame, but in the end we had a blast.

New Years Day was a day of relaxation and recovery. For me and Kristyn it also meant a very busy breakfast shift on one hour of sleep and very sour stomachs.

And finally we all caught up on our sleep.
I finally feel like I have a sort of established group of friends to hang out with. I'm getting to the point where I have more stuff to do than time to do it. And this time last year that just wasn't the case if everyone remembers. My friends are so different from me, but we have a blast whenever we hang out. I can't wait to celebrate my birthday with them.
So, I guess my New Years resolutions are to stay busy, finish another movie, make serious steps towards my film goal, get some college applications in for Fall 2007, and keep on living it up.
And I appologize for the 1800 pictures on this page. I just couldn't bear to leave any of these pictures out.
And for those of you who are crying to yourselves, "No! She can't be done yet, there has to be more pictures! " Not to worry, my dad just brought home the digital camera with the rest of my Christmas pictures on them, so I will not let my fans down. Here are a few more pictures.
