Guess who got herself a new cell phone? Me! Yay! I have unlimited calling all the time while I'm in Florida. Awesome. Plus there was no credit check or contract. So, I'm hoping that I keep up with this bill and rebuild credit so that eventually I can get a better phone. I'll post my new number as soon as I get it. Hopefully by Tuesday.
I've had an interesting week. Thursday Lonnie and I decided to go to Wally World after work. So, we went to Walmart and I bought a bunch of scrapbooking stuff for my parent's Christmas present. Thanks Linz for the idea. Anyway, so then Lonnie "kidnapped" me and we cavorted around town the rest of the day. We went to my favoritest place in the world, Taco Bell. Even though I'm all tacoed out now. Then we went to the pet store to get stuff for his puppy.
It was the saddest thing. They had these puppies in little glass compartments in the wall. This one little white Brichon Frise puppy just wanted to get out and play. It was soooo cute! He'd whine every time I walked away. It just broke my heart. Puppies don't belong in cages like that. They need to run and play, like. . . well. . . puppies.
So then we went to my house and then to Office Depot to copy pictures for el scrapbook de my parents. Then, what the whole day was about. We went to the airport to pick up Lonnie's new puppy. It's a toy poodle and it's the cutest little thing. He passed the dog off to me about two seconds after he got it, so I got to play with it all the way home :). The puppy was so scared and confused. Then, Dave and Shannon made Lonnie bring the puppy home before he brought me home, so I hung out there for a while. That was cool. . .
Yeah, so I just wasted three or four whole paragraphs. But, I had fun. I like hanging out with Lonnie. He's had as much trouble finding friends down here as I have. I guess that's what you get when you live in what can only be described as a retirement community. Bah! :(
But, yeah. . . I've been sick since I got home Thursday night. So, I've been lounging around and scrapbooking.
I can't wait until my birthday when I get to cavort around town with my favourite (I'm British now, wee!) cavorting buddy. But, I'm tired so I am going to go to sleep.
