1,000,000 Words
Some silly people here on LJ have decided that they, as a group, are going to write a million words this year! What a bunch of fruitcakes! (I mean that in the most loving way, of course.) I think that's incredibly exciting because everone benefits: the writers and betas get better and hone their skills, and the readers get entertained! I want to join in, but I don't write. Then kaige68 and haldoor suggested I could paint my words, since I do a little with graphics! So I'm on board with that! Yay! They have a comm: 1_million_words
I'd like to help out the writers if I can, so let me know if there's anything I can do. I hesitate to volunteer to be a beta because (a) I've never done that and (b) I'm not good at replying to people quickly.
Someone asked me how they can prod me along, but I really don't have a muse like the writers seem to. I just do stuff. When I write for Ohana Happy Hour I just start typing, which is probably why I ramble so much. :) When it comes to artwork, I usually have too many ideas and not enough time. But, if you have a request or suggestion, please pass it along! It could help me focus. I pretty much always have icons and headers and Woman's Day (and other silly things that pop into my head) to work on, and I thought perhaps I'd try illustrating some emotions. That is, a graphic of some sort that is supposed to communicate sadness or make you feel joy. Arm porn and button porn are always good, too, of course. *g*
This should be fun!!!! Even though I'm going to have a very hectic and busy 6 months at work, too, because of some projects. Boo! Don't those people know I have important H50 stuff to focus on?
