We need to collaborate and listen. I mean, isn't that what LiveJournal is
for anyway? Have you stopped lately? I know I haven't. I don't stop at
stop signs. I don't stop at red lights.
I don't stop for supper or sun
tans. I don't stop for questions, answers or directions. I'm not going
into my whole Gandhi mode, and I think I started this entry with the
wrong tone, but there's something truly blissful about stopping dead in
your tracks. That stillness when a girl, a boy, an image or a thought
just blindsides you and your brain is spinning far too fast to allow
your legs to move. I haven't felt that for a while. I'd like that. Summer
is very good. How can you go wrong with friends, no responsiblity, a
passion for living and a car to do it in. I'm going to Northern California
early next month. The trip will be good, but what I'm really looking
forward to is the drive. 8 hours, windows down, music off. I find myself
stopping the most while I'm moving. But hey, you have to do it
somehow. I met a girl from Australia online. Her name is Lena. She's
interesting and different and seems like she belongs in Berkeley. But
she isn't. And she taught me how to do that cool photo thing. Sorry for
the crummy updates, I promise you a better one later this week. Or maybe
I won't, take bets.
