Sorry I never post.
these past few weeks have been crazy. I went to Washington DC with my temple confirmation class and it was amazing. It is so incredible how close you can get with someone over a weekend away. The group that went had such cool dynamics and the way we all came together I will never forget. Good times in DC. Never will forget The best room ever --529, being incredibly tempted to throw caesar dressing on the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, partying, taking shots of soda, lewis and the shark woman. Also neat meeting kids from all over the country..I learned east coast slang, watch out.
The best part of the trip through is when we had Havdallah at the TJ memorial. We all sat on the steps and lit candles (all 300 of us) sitting there I pictured all the stuff that has gone on right where I was sitting, huge protests, famous speeches, etc. I just felt this overwealming feeling of power and magic.
When I came home I felt like I was coming home from another world and it definately felt like it when we landed back in seattle. I felt like the whole trip could have been a dream.
hmmm then there was MLK weekend. Insane. Started on thursday, Basically slept in my friends car for the whole weekend, parked in the QFC parking lot, mmm kids on drugs, a non-stop fiesta. Also, the people I hungout with, I havent stopped hanging out with for a week straight..bitchin.
