I remember, but shit's changed

I'm thinking about how I said that I would stay away from girls for a while since 2007 was a bit too much for me. Well, shit's changed! Me and Amanda seem to click, hopefully we can keep that up. Nobody in my fam knows about her...it'll be funny/awkward when I eventually have to tell them. Her and I aren't going out, but hey...we could...or not...my mind is revolving different feelings while on the subject of women. Veronica told me "You just want sex! I know you!"....oh sure I do want sex! Doesn't everybody except for...umm...people who don't? But I'm not really focused on that. I'm not looking, but do you really think I'll turn down a "wanna fuck?" from a cute girl? No, I'm not a whore...I"m a guy...and even girls who I KNOW wouldn't mind having sex with me have never been propostioned...well, yeah...they're under-aged.....but...well...hey, whatever I'm not getting any

take that however you want, I get pedo jokes all the time.

Another thing...

So I'm talking to Alex. I've been trying to find dude for years and BAM! I get an e-mail. I was really shocked/saddened about how things have been since we've seen each other last, but it's also been interesting to find out that everybody seems to smoke weed nowadays, hahaha.I looked at a picture of him recently and couldn't tell it was him. Wow! Shit's changed!

I've been writing and remixing songs recently.

Things about music and pop culture have been getting to me just a little bit...

I know...I'm a rapper. When people think about rap music, they are probably not thinking about what Rocky Palos does. When people think about hip-hop, they probably aren't thinking Rocky Palos....that's understandable since I do rock, electronica, pop, trance, etc but these things annoy me.....

1) Kids don't know what "hip-hop" is anymore.
Hip-hop equals 4 elements. 1-DJ 2-MC-3-Break-dancing 4-Graffiti art.
Even rappers today will claim that they are a part of the hip-hop community and will claim to be an MC. Talking about random shit, guns/sex while rhyming at the same time isn't being an MC. I know why people hate rap. It's bittersweer to be part of the actual "hip-hop community"...which hasn't had the lime-light since the mid-to late 90s in the NY area...but it doesn't stop there...

2)So-called "HIP-HOP HEADS"
If you think hip-hop died when Tupac and Biggie died, then you are blind and deaf. IMO they weren't even hip-hop. They were rappers with a light-weight hip-hop lyricism. RAP = R-rythmic A-accentuated P-poetry ...that "Poetry" part is important. Yeah, I know that's why Aesop Rock, EL-P, and Mos Def may not have that commercial appeal...all are good song-writers and poets. Lupe Fiasco and Kanye West manage to do work without being stereotypically stupid...well, they happen to not be stupid at all...at least they rap about things they find important and aren't about encouraging violence/ignorance.

3)"You're still an ass...."
I <3 everything about music. I hate Reggaeton with a passion, though. I always say that I hate RnB and new "urban" music, but I do acknowledge that good music is good music...I do listen to Ludacris and own a T.I. CD...Ludacris is cool, with T.I. I turn off my brain. I used to just say that I hate the radio...can't say that now...I don't listen to it....but everything I seem to hear sucks...you got a few good apples though. My parents and some of my friends don't think like I do though...Therefore I always think they won't like my music...or just like a song or two.

Music rocks....I'm now going to listen to Miley Cyrus
