13) DIYs I Want To Try...
I must say first of all that I'm rather concerned that a a post about DIY is numbered thirteen.....I hope it isn't a bad omen! :)
The main thing I'd like to try is making some kind of water feature in the garden or on the patio. A pebble pool or small pond. I'm not that bothered about having fish in it, but obviously if it was a pond, it would attract wildlife -we already get frogs and newts round here as well as lots of birds.
Another thing I'd like is a garden bench or arbour. SImple enough, but because the garden at the back is all sloping, it would need a level "Platform" of some kind making.
I'd like to make some borders in the front garden and plant them up with heathers and alpines. We're quite exposed and I think they would cope well with the strong winds that we get here.
Inside the house....? Not much I'd change really but it all needs decoration....soon!!!
