holy cow, the power of thought. didn't say a word to james, and i swear the day after i made the last post he cleaned the kitchen and started registering for college.
a friend of ours hooked him up with a job helping someone after surgery. so he actually is gone for the next few weeks. if he's not back by the time the kid's coming i'll be sending someone to go get his ass. he's about 45 minutes away. getting paid *and* helping out someone that smokes! ideal for him, really.
my parents are talking about coming to visit for christmas! the possible plan is them driving out from minnesota to seattle, visiting with mom's brother for a couple of days. then snagging up poni on the way down to visit me! probably stay until new years. hopefully the kid's timing will be on and they'll be able to be here for the birth!
