Here are a few stray things I'm thinking about at the moment:
I have exams on Tuesday and Wednesday, then I will be DONE with going to class in person! Woo! I still have to pass one more exemption test to ensure that I graduate when I want to, but I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I've lived here my whole life, and yet, I'm shocked every year when the temperature goes from coolish-in-the-a.m. to surface-of-the-sun over night. However, I used to prefer winter, and now I'm more of a summer. I think it's the sunlight more than the temperature, but either way, I'm glad.
I'm the uber-geek because this
Academic Conference about Buffy sounds pretty awesome to me. Also, it is awesome to me that I was emailed this link by my brother, who I personally converted to Buffy fandom.
Which leads nicely into my last point: Eric and I have decided for sure that we're not going to PlayOnCon. Instead, we're going to DragonCon Friday-Sunday. We really can't do both, and, of the two, I think we'll have a better time at DragonCon. The guest list looks pretty awesome. For me, there is Anne McCaffrey (my favoritest SF/fantasy author), James Marsters (my boyfriend aka Spike!), Really British Name Guy who plays Ianto on Torchwood, Bernie Wrightson (co-creator of Swamp Thing), and a whole bunch of the cast of Battlestar Galactica, which we've recently gotten into, including Katee Sackhoff (my girlfriend), who plays Starbuck. For Eric, there is Adam West and...that is all that there really needs to be for Eric.
