Thanksgiving Week is upon us
Well jeeze where's the time gone. November is almost over. My mind is still in a funk. I really need to get myself out of this. I will be unemployed in three months - damn I need to get on the ball. Sat with a career counselor on Friday - that was good. Got me thinking positively...
But all in all - what's happened to me in the past month...
November Bear Nite - Harrisburg - had a great time - saw lots of friends. Damn I love Harrisburg. November Bear Nite - Allentown - nice time - made some more friends and a young cub entertained my hubby all night. It was nice to see him so happy and have someone just sit and talk to him for like three hours...HE NEEDED IT.
ME? Damn I'm at wits end trying to figure out how to keep Carmen happy. He's down. Almost had the perfect job - the one he's wanted for years - signed offer letter. Emails twice a day saying we almost have your start date. Then the email - "we regret to tell you that the government has decided we no longer need to fill this position" Still has me in a funk and it's been two weeks. Carm is just so quiet. I'm not looking forward to the holidays - I just want them over - I want our lives to start over. I hope 2008 will be that jump start.
But then again - how can I not be happy. I have a man in my life that I love. Who holds me every night in bed as we fall asleep. Waiting for that fourth wind to kick in and get me through...
WORK - sucks for me. I packed up half of my office and sent down. Then the four pallets of cabinets. The end is near. It's actually hard for me to go to work now. Damn I hate that...
OK well dinner time here. May we all have a great week and find the love and strength we need in our lives.
