Hey..I hope it's not weird to ask about the colouring for your icon you entered? Because it's goregous and I was wondering about it. :x

It's weird to me answer you. 'cause a) i dont write english correctly, b) i work with Paint shop pro 7 and c) i don't remember how i made that coloring XD

But it's simple. Just make a screen layer, a Hue/Saturation layer (play with the colors tones) and finally make a new layer, put this #F6E6CE and multiply

if you understand me, it's a miracle.
