Today was fun. We (being me, my mom, grammy, my sisters, and my neice) drove down to La Jolla to visit my mom's uncle and cousin. My great uncle moved in with my mom's cousin (my second cousin?) when my great aunt died a year ago, and it was great to see them again. We had a delicious lunch and went to a park. We were going to go to the beach but it was packed because the weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. We hit a little traffic coming home but it still only took a little under two hours to get back. I finished the rest of my spring break homework in the car, and now have nothing to stress out about. That is until I go to school tomorrow and am once again swamped with work.

Eileen and I are going to talk to my poetry 2 teacher (who is also my advisor, and her poetry 1 teacher) about starting the magazine. I think it'll work. If it does, I am going to be so excited. We have to finish getting the proposal ready, but honestly, why wouldn't they let us do it? I'm going to be nervous talking to the president of the school, but I guess I have to get used to talking to the head honchos of places.

B. Dalton is going out of business in the Redlands Mall (because the Barnes and Noble is opening in April and they're owned by them), so everything was 30% off. We went in yesterday and I FINALLY got "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot." I finished it on the way down to La Jolla. FUNNY AS HELL. I love Al Franken, and I hate Rush, so it was a fantastic read. I'm contemplating applying for a job at Barnes and Noble, since I love books and need to get my first "real" job (even though it was fun tutoring people tax free and making bank). I've heard big places like that can be evil to work for, though, so we'll just have to wait and see.
